>>HobbyKnob Farm is located in the mountains of western North Carolina in Weaverville. Our small herd of sheep is mostly for our personal enjoyment. Our farm has roaming chickens, llamas with cria, tractors and mowers and a noisy child so these sheep are exposed to many things.
We often have animals for sale who are not listed here. Call and ask for Elizabeth 828-645-5869.
I require a deposit of 50% of the total sales price. You must pick up your animals within 2 weeks or I will have to start adding a $1.00 per day keeping fee. If you do not pick them up within 30 days, you lose your deposit and they go back on my sales list. They will be current on CDT, parasite tested and wormed if needed. If they are registerable sheep, I will register them and have them transferred to your name. This may not happen right away, but it will happen. I am happy to be available for questions and I particularly enjoy helping those new to sheep. However, I do encourage you to research sheep care and breed characteristics. There are excellent books available through websites and libraries.

Pet and Fiber companion wethers available. I participate in the voluntary Scrapie identification but do not operate a closed flock.

Cotton will be available this summer after she lambs to someone only interested in fiber. Her lower teeth are not aligned correctly with her upper palate so I do not want to breed her again. She has too nice a fleece to send her to the freezer so if you are interested in a sweet fiber only sheep, this girl is for you. She is priced at $100.00 to an approved home.
Stella is half Morrit Corriedale with the remaining half of Cotswold and Border Leicester. She is a fine wool, lovely fleece, once a year shearing. She is 3 years old. $175.00

These 2 wethers have been companions and need to be sold together. They were pets at their former home and will make nice grass and brush mowers with the added bonus of nice fiber. Once a year shearing, easy keeper. Timmy the brown one is half Jacob half cots/bl. The black and white sheep,Odie, is 3/4 Jacob and 1/4 cots/bl. Reasonably priced to approved home only!
