>>HobbyKnob Farm is located in the mountains of western North Carolina in Weaverville. Our small herd of sheep is mostly for our personal enjoyment. Our farm has roaming chickens, llamas with cria, tractors and mowers and a noisy child so these sheep are exposed to many things.

We often have animals for sale who are not listed here. Call and ask for Elizabeth 828-645-5869.

"TERMS OF SALE"

I require a deposit of 50% of the total sales price. You must pick up your animals within 2 weeks or I will have to start adding a $1.00 per day keeping fee. If you do not pick them up within 30 days, you lose your deposit and they go back on my sales list. They will be current on CDT, parasite tested and wormed if needed. If they are registerable sheep, I will register them and have them transferred to your name. This may not happen right away, but it will happen. I am happy to be available for questions and I particularly enjoy helping those new to sheep. However, I do encourage you to research sheep care and breed characteristics. There are excellent books available through websites and libraries.

You can search for pedigrees at the JSBA website: http://www.jsba.org/search.html

Pet and Fiber companion wethers available. I participate in the voluntary Scrapie identification but do not operate a closed flock.

We invite you to visit any time but please call for an appointment first so we'll be available to spend time with you when you arrive.

Perfect Spot Clementine FOR SALE
dob 3/17/06

Sire: 4 Horn Farm's Hoosier
Dam: Perfect Spot Jaden

Since I have decided to keep Clementine's 09 lamb and I have her mother Jaden, I am offering Clementine for sale this year. Clementine has easily delivered 2 sets of twin lambs. For a Jacob she is quite calm. She has a dense fleece on the fine side with a large amount of white. She would be a nice ewe for a starter Jacob flock. She does have her tail.

You can search for this pedigree at the JSBA website: http://www.jsba.org/search.html

Curious George FOR SALE
dob 3/09

This is Curious George. He is a Cotswold(Mo)/Jacob (Angelina) cross. OOPS! He was a curious lamb, thus his name, which is a little unusual for a Jacob. Must be the Cotswold genetics expressing itself! George was born in March of 2009. He would be a nice pet wether/companion with interesting fleece. He enjoys peanuts in the shell as a treat.

Sire-Mo (Cotswold)
Dam-Angelina (Jacob)

$65.00
